What sort of people do the course?
People
who don't know the first thing about Mandarin and are curious. People who
have Chinese friends they'd like to understand better. People who plan
to go to China and would like some basic travel language skills to survive.
People who plan to use Mandarin for work or study and want to start with
a short course before progressing to more serious courses at an academic
level. People who have recently become involved with someone who speaks
Chinese and would like to speak with their parents! There are hundreds
of reasons people might want to do our course. What's yours?
4.
Do you offer any intermediate or advanced courses?
Not
yet, but we hope to in the future. In the meantime, James Tsui is also
available for private
Mandarin lessons.
5.
I might not be able to make a lesson in October. What should I do?
A
pdf of some of the exercises used in the lesson you missed can be emailed
to you.
6.
What's your refund policy?
You
can cancel and receive a full refund up to 2 days before the course starts.
After that time we would have already started printing the exercises for
the students and doing final processing of registrations so cancelations
after this time will incur a 50% fee to cover preparation costs.
7.
What if I decide to quit the course half way? Can I get a refund?
Sorry,
no refunds once the course has started. Pdfs of some of the exercises used
in class can be emailed to you. If you think you might have a problem doing
the course, James Tsui would be happy to answer any questions you have
after you register.
8.
