1. How much does a tutor
cost?
From $100 for 2 hours, depending
on the tutor and the time. We no longer do 1 hour lessons. Teachers accept
cash at the end of each lesson or you can prepay for a lesson online via
PayPal here
2. Can you come to my
home to teach me?
Due to frequent misunderstandings
between students and tutors, we can no longer offer this service. The safety
of our tutors is paramount. Please attend lessons at our school in the
city.
3. Do you teach children?
We mainly teach adults.
Teaching children requires a different methology. Having said that, some
of our tutors have taught children previously. Contact us if there is a
particular language you would like your child to learn and we'll enquire
with that particular tutor. |

The language I want isn't listed. Will you be offering it?
It may be that we have that
particular casual tutor on our books. Email us and we'll look into it.
5. Where are you located?
Adult Language School is
in Sydney city, a short walk from Town Hall station. The address is room
102, level 1, 32 York Street. Please note that this is just a classroom
and meeting point. There is no reception. Bookings are only made via this
website via email.
6. I'd prefer a class
full of students, rather than a teacher. Do you have anything like that?
We only specialise in private
tuition.
7. What level are the
private tutor lessons? I don't know anything about the language.
Being a private tutor they
adjust to whatever level you are and produce appropriate materials for
you. Tutors can teach beginners, intermediate and advanced level students. |
