You can learn the basics of speaking Mandarin in our friendly class.

While exercise sheets are given, the focus is on spoken Mandarin so, 
no need to learn over 20,000 characters you won't use!

Lessons include:
* Reviews of the 4 tones. Pronunciation is corrected regularly
* Introductions for different ages
* Ordering in a restaurant, buying food, drinks in shops, pubs
* Asking directions and other things related to travel throughout China
* Chinese for dating - what to say and do, what not to say and do!
* Chinese slang - how young Chinese really speak!
* Chinese culture and customs as well as differences in culture between major Chinese cities, including things you should never say in China.

Plus, much more!

It's 4 lessons over 4 Wednesdays so it's short, intense and fun! Also, with a maximum of 6 students in the class, Rae will be able to give more individual attention.

About the teacher

Rae Hao has been teaching Mandarin privately, and more recently in the classroom, for over 8 years. 

Rae is from Beijing so she understands Chinese culture and customs.
